The Queen is accepting an audience!

Dana started Queen of Tarts Catering in 2012 while living in Ojai, California. She began with tangy lemon tarts inspired by the abundance of local citrus, and her small business quickly grew into a full-service catering operation specializing in multi-course “rustic formal” dinner parties, retreats, and destination weddings.

After moving to Hamden, CT in 2016, Dana evolved her business to meet the demands of the busy communities of Yale and Quinnipiac — creating fresh and healthy lunches for the Yale School of Medicine and preseason meals for Quinnipiac athletic teams. Other events included receptions and multi-course meals for the Yale University Library and the Yale Sustainable Food Program.

From 2018-2020, Dana was the Chef at the Yale Cabaret Theater at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale — creating nourishing meals that often reflected the vision, location or theme of the stories being told on stage. Dana and her talented team can also be found catering events at the Westport Country Playhouse.
